Château Vartely awarded the main prize on National Wine Day, recognized as the best winery of the year.

Chisinau, October 7, 2023 – As part of the celebration of National Wine Day, Château Vartely received the highest award, the main prize. The company is recognized as the best winery of the year for outstanding contributions to the production of high-quality wines, promotion of traditions and high standards of indigenous wines, and the popularization of Moldova’s image as a wine tourism destination on the international stage.

This prestigious award is recognition of the company’s merits and constant efforts in producing high-quality wines.

Château Vartely has demonstrated outstanding commitment to traditions, quality, and innovation. Over the last two years, having received more than a hundred medals in prestigious international competitions, including four Grand Gold medals for wines from the Individo and Taraboste series, Château Vartely once again confidently affirmed its reputation as a producer of outstanding wines, exceptional in quality and innovative in approach.

Established in 2004, Château Vartely has become a vivid example in the winemaking industry at both the local and international levels during its almost twenty-year history. The company’s major achievements in recent years include a significant expansion of vineyard areas, now totaling over 500 hectares in two winemaking regions of Moldova: Codru and Traian Val.

Over the past five years, Château Vartely has doubled the share of high-quality wines in its assortment, strengthening its position in the local market and in more than 25 countries worldwide. The company continually incorporates new technologies into wine production and the development of wine tourism. Its contributions in this regard have been duly recognized by top-level experts.
