Château Vartely wines get their flavors in 600 oak barrels, each with a capacity of 225 liters. Thus, the average level of “burning” gives the wine a soft texture and a unique aftertaste. Influence of wood over the aroma and flavor is an important element in achieving high quality wines. Château Vartely uses barrels from European and American oak, made in France, Portugal and the United States.
600 barrels “host” the harvest, collected from more than 250 hectares of vineyards, located in the central and southern part of Moldova. The barrels store wine that is further bottled with a quantity of about 4.5 million bottles a year.
